I miss Mike.

Sure, he turned this city in a dirtier Dubai - a heaven for billionaires. But he defended reproductive rights harder than any US politician since this state legalized abortion in 1970. And he took the damn subway almost daily (when he wasn't piloting his helicopter to Bermuda).

Why is Eric Adams our mayor? Why couldn't he just be a bad landlord or a terrible crypto scammer? He's that elderly boyfriend who fancies himself a new age health food nut who still possesses the fitness of a man in his mid-30s. If he also owned a Corvette, you'd know the type. Maybe some of our parents are dating that guy today.

He's just not a good person. He would be better suited as a former cop who does private security and grift on the side, like all the others. He wears a bracelet on his wrist that reads HUSTLE. That's no mindset for the top elected position in New York City.

Should I run? Or does any smart adult in New York City care to run for this job no one wants?
